The Unltd Select 2031 Tidal is built for players who are ready to compete, develop, and take the next step in their lacrosse journey. Led by Varsity Miller Place Coach Donnie Denning alongside Varsity Coach Brett Jeffares, Bay Shore Youth Director Justin Martinich, and Chris Donohue, this team brings together experienced leadership with a true passion for player development and team culture. The 2031 Tidal program is designed to challenge players in a competitive environment while continuing to build strong fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, confidence, and accountability. With a coaching staff deeply connected to the Long Island lacrosse community, players receive high-level instruction focused on both individual growth and team success.

Donny Denning

Coach Donny Denning brings passion, leadership, and a high-level understanding of the game to the Unltd Select 2031 Tidal program. Known for his energy, competitive mindset, and ability to connect with players, Coach Donny is committed to helping athletes develop both on and off the field.

With a strong focus on player development, accountability, and team culture, Coach Donny creates an environment where players are pushed to compete, improve, and grow every time they step onto the field. His coaching style emphasizes fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, toughness, and playing the game the right way while building confidence in every athlete he works with.

Coach Donny believes that success comes through preparation, discipline, and consistency. His goal is not only to develop skilled lacrosse players, but also strong teammates and leaders who represent the Unltd Select culture with pride.

As a leader of the 2031 Tidal, Coach Donny is dedicated to building a competitive, family-oriented team environment where players can develop a true passion for the game while preparing for the next levels of lacrosse.

Assistant Coach

Mike Efron

Mike Efron brings a strong playing background, passion for the game, and a player-first mindset to Unltd Select. As the Assistant Coach for the 2031 Tidal, Mike is dedicated to helping athletes develop the skills, confidence, and lacrosse IQ needed to reach their full potential. His positive energy and ability to connect with players create an environment where athletes are encouraged to compete, learn, and grow every day.

A former standout player at St. John's University, Mike competed at the Division I level, where he gained firsthand experience in the preparation, discipline, and commitment required to succeed against elite competition. Those experiences continue to shape his coaching philosophy and allow him to share valuable insights with the next generation of players.

Mike believes that great coaching starts with building strong fundamentals while emphasizing effort, accountability, teamwork, and communication. He takes pride in helping players improve their stick skills, decision-making, and confidence, while reinforcing the importance of being a great teammate and leader both on and off the field.

As an Assistant Coach for the 2031 Tidal, Mike plays an important role in creating a competitive and supportive environment where every athlete has the opportunity to improve. His knowledge of the game, enthusiasm for teaching, and commitment to player development make him a valuable member of the Unltd Select coaching staff.
