Welcome to the UNLTD Select Futures Program, led by Mark Rotella, where the next generation of lacrosse players take their first steps into the game in a fun, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment. Designed for boys in Kindergarten through 1st Grade, the Futures Program is built around one simple goal: helping young athletes fall in love with lacrosse. Under the leadership of Mark Rotella, players are introduced to the game in a positive environment that emphasizes fun, skill development, and confidence building. At this age, we believe the experience should be about learning, making friends, and developing a passion for the sport—not pressure or specialization. We understand that young athletes are still discovering which sports they enjoy most. That’s why the Futures Program is intentionally flexible and designed to complement—not compete with—other sports and activities. We strongly encourage multi-sport participation and believe that well-rounded athletes develop into better players and more confident individuals. The Futures Program is not a full-time commitment or annual tuition program. Instead, families can participate on a sign-up-as-needed basis, giving young players the opportunity to experience lacrosse in a low-pressure setting. Throughout the year, we offer training blocks consisting of approximately four sessions per month every other month, providing consistent instruction while allowing families to maintain balance with school, other sports, and family life. Players will learn the fundamentals of lacrosse through engaging drills and games focused on stick skills, passing, catching, ground balls, athletic movement, and teamwork—all while having fun and building confidence. At UNLTD Select, we believe success at this age isn’t measured by wins and losses.
